Cacao Shake

Ingredients

1.5 cups coconut or almond milk*

2 tablespoons raw cacao powder

1/2 ripe avocado

1/2 cup crushed ice AND 1 tablespoon of coconut nectar (low glycemic) OR 2 pitted Medjool date

Or in place of ice:

1/2 to 2/3 cup of organic frozen fruit  - like dark cherries or any type of berry


* If you are tired of buying almond or coconut milk here is a delicious alternative: buy full fat coconut cream and use 2 TBS in 1.5 cups of water instead. It is just as good or better!

Directions

Blend in blender or Nutri-bullet until smooth. You may have to add more liquid.
